Pixel 11 Pro Leak Timeline — Every Credible Source, Dated (Updated 2026)
This is a living chronological record of every credible Google Pixel 11 Pro XL leak, dated and sourced. No speculation disguised as news. No recycled renders presented as new. Every entry includes the date it was published, the source, what was revealed, and our assessment of its credibility.
We maintain this tracker at The Pixel Case — the only accessories store built exclusively for Google Pixel because we need this information professionally. Our cases are engineered around exact device dimensions and camera bar geometry. When OnLeaks publishes CAD renders with precise measurements (162.7 × 76.5 × 8.5mm), we're using those numbers to begin case tooling, not just reporting them.

Samsung M16 OLED display rumored for Pixel 11 series
Reports indicate Google may use Samsung's next-generation M16 OLED panel across the Pixel 11 lineup. The M16 would deliver improved brightness, colour accuracy, and power efficiency compared to the current display panels. If confirmed, this would be a notable upgrade over the Pixel 10 Pro XL's already-excellent display.

Full CAD renders of Pixel 11 Pro XL — dimensions, design, camera bar confirmed
The most significant Pixel 11 Pro XL leak to date. OnLeaks (Steve Hemmerstoffer) published 5K CAD-based renders via Android Headlines, revealing:
• Dimensions: 162.7 × 76.5 × 8.5mm — nearly identical to Pixel 10 Pro XL (0.1mm shorter and narrower)
• Camera bar redesign: Fully blacked-out all-glass camera bar — aluminum shielding removed. Reverts to a Pixel 6-style full-visor design with a modern twist. The body colour no longer extends around the flash area
• Temperature sensor removed: Beebom specifically notes the thermometer sensor (introduced on Pixel 8 Pro) is absent from the CAD renders
• Thinner bezels: Approximately 1.1mm screen bezels (Phandroid), slightly thinner than Pixel 10 Pro XL
• Display: 6.8-inch LTPO AMOLED retained
• RAM debate: Android Central and Android Headlines note possible reduction from 16GB to 12GB due to rising RAM costs — speculative, not confirmed
This leak completed the set — all four Pixel 11 models (standard, Pro, Pro XL, Pro Fold) have now been revealed in CAD renders via OnLeaks. The renders are based on supply chain CAD files, which are highly reliable for dimensions and layout but don't reflect final colours or minor surface details.

What the April CAD Leak Means for Pixel 11 Pro XL Cases
The OnLeaks CAD renders from April 2–3 confirm three things that directly affect case engineering:
1. Pixel 10 Pro XL cases will NOT fit the Pixel 11 Pro XL. The all-glass blacked-out camera bar is a different shape and profile than the Pixel 10 Pro XL's dual-tone aluminum/glass bar. New molds are required — even though the overall phone dimensions are nearly identical (0.1mm difference).
2. The temperature sensor removal changes the case cutout. Cases for the Pixel 10 Pro XL include a cutout for the rear temperature sensor. The Pixel 11 Pro XL won't need this, which means a cleaner case back with fewer openings.
3. Case engineering is already underway. At The Pixel Case, we use CAD data like the OnLeaks renders to begin tooling 4–5 months before launch. We will have launch-day cases for all four Pixel 11 models.

Frequently Asked Questions
When is the Google Pixel 11 Pro XL release date?
August 2026. Confirmed by multiple credible sources. Digit reports a specific window of August 17–25, with devices on sale in mid-September.
What does the Pixel 11 Pro XL look like?
Full CAD renders (OnLeaks, April 2026) show a design nearly identical to the Pixel 10 Pro XL with two key changes: an all-glass fully blacked-out camera bar (aluminum shielding removed) and slightly thinner bezels. Dimensions: 162.7 × 76.5 × 8.5mm. The temperature sensor has been removed.
Will Pixel 10 Pro XL cases fit the Pixel 11 Pro XL?
No. The all-glass camera bar redesign and removed temperature sensor cutout require new case molds. The Pixel Case will have launch-day cases ready for the Pixel 11 Pro XL.
What chip does the Pixel 11 Pro XL use?
Tensor G6 — 7-core processor, 2nm TSMC process, PowerVR C-series GPU, MediaTek M90 5G modem. Credible leak via Geeky Gadgets and Android Authority's Google Chips division documents.
Is the Pixel 11 Pro XL getting a new camera bar design?
Yes. CAD renders show a fully blacked-out all-glass camera bar with aluminum shielding removed — reverting to a Pixel 6-style visor design. The module covers more surface area but protrudes less than the Pixel 10 Pro XL's bar.
Is the temperature sensor being removed from the Pixel 11 Pro XL?
Credible leak: yes. Beebom reports the temperature sensor (introduced on Pixel 8 Pro) is absent from the April 2026 CAD renders. This has not been officially confirmed by Google.
